Clinton and editor in front of the editor's image. Spot the resemblance?
Laxmi's paintings...
and floor piece. Very early on, someone managed to step into this and make a big mess. I was even lucky enough to witness it happening. Although not wise enough to stop it. It now has two very significant footprints as an extra addition.
Michelle's collection of curios made from abject materials
And Lyn's installation. People kept bumping their heads into it which was rather entertaining.
And lastly Natalia's print work.
Amber and Alan having a yarn.
So what did I think? Very impressive use of space. I reckon, every piece had its own room to be. It was a very high level for such a short amount of time to prepare and I think everyone has been thoroughly surprised by the amount of effort people have been putting in. The only con i would say is that there seemed to be an inconsistency with contextual statements, not everyone had one for people to read. Perhaps next week's groups can rectify that? Do they deserve the title 'cream of the crop'? I'll leave that for you to decide...
Until next week!
